This sampler is entitled Descending Order because the example reflects the maternal line of my own family and their years of birth starting with my grandmother Ada Satterthwaite, my mother Leonie Hendriks, myself Jools Line, my daughter Lisa Denmar and finally my granddaughter Jasmine Webb.
But none of this is set in stone (or thread for that matter) and could very easily be tweaked to reflect siblings, school friends, bridesmaids, pets – the possibilities are endless and limited only by your imagination. An alphabet and numerals have been included with the chart to allow for personalisation of the final band.
